What Do Children Think Of AWANA?

Children are excited to come to AWANA every week not only because they can see their friends but also they are excited to participate in worship and the game session. They come prepared to show their completed homework and recite memory verses to their leaders. It brings a sense of honor and pride to demonstrate their hard work doing the assignment during the week.

More About AWANA

God has used the AWANA program for six decades to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world. The goal is to reach children through knowing the word of God, becoming little disciples of Jesus and equipping future leaders to spread the gospel to the end of the world.

Our church is very proud to be able to introduce this program to our kids starting at 3 years old to fifth grade. The children are divided into their own age group clubs led by our youth volunteers.

We normally meet for 30 weeks from early September to the end of May. We do take a summer recess to give our volunteers a break knowing that many of the families will be traveling during the children’s summer vacation. Registration opens to the families every year around the end of May to give the AWANA team leaders enough time to order material for the participants to start the program in September.
